What is the Christmas story and why is it special for Christians?

In this lesson we will be learning all about the Christmas story. We will be looking at a calendar and identifying when Christmas is and how to read the calendar. Then we will be identifying who celebrates Christmas. Lastly, we will be listening to the Christmas story and sequencing the story by drawing it onto a piece of paper.
In this lesson we will be learning all about how Christmas is celebrated and what traditions some Christians may do each year. We will also be learning about where some Christians may go to celebrate Christmas.
In this lesson, we will be learning about the three wise men and what gifts they shared with baby Jesus. Some Christians believe each gift was given to Jesus for a reason, we will be identifying some of these beliefs.
In this lesson we will be learning about where Jesus was born. We will be looking at the importance of the manger and what it represents in Christianity. We will also be reading some extracts from a bible.
In this lesson, we will be learning about a Christian's place of worship called a Church. We will be looking at what different services are provided at churches and what they are.
In this lesson we are going to be looking at the features of a Church. We will be looking at the appearance of some churches and what they are like inside. We will be looking at each feature of a church and what they are used for.
In this lesson we are going to be learning all about how Christians show their identify. We will be looking at the symbols which represent Christians and why they may wear this symbol on their person.
