Key learning points

  1. Introduce the concept of keeping a ball off the ground and striking over a net / barrier (use balloon to start before progressing to beach ball / soft tennis ball)
  2. Introduce the equipment (racket) & share rules on how to use safely
  3. Begin to apply skills whilst following sequences and patterns of movement (highlight levels of movement such as crouching and stretching)
