Key learning points

  1. In this lesson, we will be reading 'Elmer's Weather' by David McKee in the form of a Sensory Story. Throughout the reading, the use of multi-sensory actions will be demonstrated and there will be time for these to be completed with your child during the session. This lesson aims to encourage engagement and anticipation when reading a story and is suitable for those who are non-verbal. Adult modelling and support is needed throughout the session.
