In today's lesson, you will need your looking eyes and listening ears, and your favourite Teddy. Pause the video, find your Teddy, and come back soon. We have been learning about lots of different daily habits. These are things we should be doing every day. Take a look at my pictures. Can you remember what each of them mean? Let's go through them. Wear clean clothes, wash and clean your body, stop the spread of germs, brush your teeth, flush and wash. Great. Are you following these at home? Germs, they're everywhere. Watch out! They're going to get you. Can you remember what they were? Yes, those tiny little bugs that move around and live on everything that we touch. You can't always see them with your eyes. We need to sort this out, but how? To stop the spread of germs, we need to know where they've come from. Germs are everywhere, but they start off with you. Yes, you. Let me explain. Oh, bless you! When you sneeze, there are tiny germs inside your body that need to leave and it needs to be rid of. When you sneeze in your hand and then touch something, the germs are spread onto everything that you touch. The right way to stop the spread of germs is to sneeze into a tissue and then wash your hands. If you don't have a tissue and you sneeze in your hands, then you must wash them, following the steps of wet, scrub and rinse. Oh dear, he's got a nasty cough! That is another way you could spread germs. With a cough, lots of germs leave your body again, and they all spread onto everything around you. The correct way to stop the spread of cough is to cough into your elbow. Can you practise? A fun fact! Did you know that you cannot sneeze unless you close your eye eyes? You have a go at keeping your eyes open next time you sneeze. Once the germs are out of your body, you need to be clean in yourself and everything around you to get rid of the germs. We do not need the nasty germs around us, otherwise, you know what will happen. yes, I love to move around and spread myself to everything. Oh, nasty germ, let's bust him away. Oh look, here he is again, trying to get inside your body through your nose, ears, and mouth. Let's bust him out. if I get inside your body through your eyes, ears or nose, you will become sick and fall ill. Yes, you will. And you're going to need some medicine to feel better, and may even need to visit a doctor. We need to stop this from happening. I don't want to fall ill, and have to stop myself from playing. I don't wanna visit the doctor or take any medicines. Some medicines have a funny taste. Have you ever had any? I thought what you might. Right, children, what can we do? Ah, I have an idea. To stop the spread of germs, we need to follow some steps. They are: catch it, bin it, kill it. Catch it in a tissue. Put the tissue in the bin. Get rid of those germs by washing your hands.
